Naming project for new web site. $1000 bonus if we use your name
We are looking to generate a potential domain names for a new Dating web site. This is a second attempt. The first batch of names didn't test so well. Amp up the creativity this time around !

The closer you are to meeting the criteria, the better chance the name has to be chosen.

Site description:

This new online dating service is a great way to meet singles, whether you are looking for someone fun to date or your next long-term relationship. The site is dedicated to helping you quickly, safely and confidently connect with quality singles for great dates or your next great relationship.

All members have a photo posted and a profile with extensive information on interests, hobbies, appearance and personality. Easy to use search tools help you quickly find people you might like to connect with.

It is free to browse the site. You only need to purchase a membership when you wish to communicate with a member.

The site promises to:

Naming Criteria:

· Memorable, Easy to spell, likely no misspellings, no obvious jokes/misinterpretations (ex. GoDate could be read as GODate) and no similarities to names of undesirable sites like those promoting pornography.

· Tie into dating category and support the site description above – directly or indirectly, but not conflicting (like deathsoldiers.com – cool name but not appropriate)

Prefer to use a real word that implies dating

· Ties into photo personals with a trusted audience feeling. This site is about introductions and starting something fresh, fun and new. Would ideally be neutrally placed between casual and serious relationships.

· Name must be available

How to determine if the name is “available”

1. Google search to see if there are other dating or social networking companies using a version of the name

2. Search on http://instantdomainsearch.com/ to see if the name is owned. We prefer available domains. If the domain already exists, try to determine if it is a business or a personal web page or blog and might accept a buyout offer. You may submit names of exisitng websites only on the condition that:
--the are NOT an existing business or service.
--they are NOT a trademarked organization.

a. Name must be a “.com” domain.

b. Name has to be 9 letters or less (shorter is better)

c. No numbers can be used in the name

Words/Names that are OFF-LIMITS (either for trademark or availability reasons). This includes variations (example. For Click – weclick, clicknow, etc are all out)
